- Ali Amigh - audio engineer/music producer
A music enthusiast coming originally from Iran and have been living in the Netherlands since 2012. After exploring different fields Ali came across a sound engineering course in Amsterdam that really got him started in the world of music and sound. This let him to become a freelance sound technician and worked with venues, festivals and bands over time and gained lots of experiences.
In the meantime he was dreaming about having his own studio where he could record bands, Since the circumstances are changing the world of live music nowadays and Ali didn't have a job left in the scene he started watching a lot of Tiny Desk Concerts on YouTube that really inspired him to do something similar in the backyard garage. Ali has been trying to make a studio out of for the last couple of years. After meeting up with Dion and sharing his dreams, ideas and thoughts they decided to join powers and have an adventure together that let them to start this amazing project.
- Dion Vluggen - audio engineer/music producer
Dion is a 31-year-old music enthousiast. Growing up in the south of the Netherlands he played guitar from the early age of 8 years old. Starting out as a Spanish classical and flamenco student he widened his musical taste and picked up electric guitar and bass along the years. Being in many bands and touring through Europe made his love for audio engineering grow as he was recording albums along the way with his band. Now, in 2020, Dion is starting his new career at the United POP Academy in Amsterdam where he will be learning the art of recording and producing music.
- Arianna C. Ninà - videographer/camera operator
Born and raised very close to Barcelona, where she discovered her passion for audiovisual arts. Moved to the Netherlands in 2017, to make known those stories she heard in the streets surrounding the Mediterranean. She’s currently exploring the impact of images and music while studying Moving Image in the AKI ArtEZ academy, in Enschede, to master her audiovisual direction.
- Silke Wolthuis - videographer/camera operator
Born and raised in the East of the Netherlands. As an 8 year old, she started playing clarinet and later she discovered her singing voice. She played in several bands as a front lady and gigged though out the Netherlands and Europe. Due the recent worldwide situation, unfortunately most live gigs came to an end. So this is the perfect time to gain other skills as well. Silke is a big fan of the Tiny Desk sessions and when she heard of the plans from Ali and Dion, she was immediately enthusiastic. At Thunder Road Sessions she is a camera operator and is arranging the back stage.
- Darya Nakhost - videographer/camera operator
Darya is an Iranian cinematographer. She majored in broadcasting and communication and she experienced working in the areas of concept development, News, film production, post production and distribution. Her involvment in music related projects consists of live streamings, promos and music festival after movies.
